Choose from 3 different lengths

(2ex) 125mm x 47mm

Pressure treated Brown or Green

These rails have a bevelled / angled edge thats designed so rain water wont sit on the rail.

We recommend using cant rail when your constructing a closeboard fence.

The reference to (2ex) means the rails are cut from a 125mm x 47mm section of timber, therefore creating 2 rails from 1 section of timber.

The Cant rail finishes up approx 75mm x 47mm with a chamfered edge.    

Fix the rails to your post with 100mm galvanised nails.

We recommend the following height / rail combination:

2.4m and above = 4 rails per bay

1.8m = 3 rails per bay

1.5m = 3 rails per bay

1.2m = 2 rails per bay 

The only other decision to make is how far apart you want you posts 2.4m, 3.0m or for extra strength use 3.6m cant rail and have your posts at 1.8m centres,
